Mr. Donald Yang founded Starport Capital Management, LLC in Palo Alto, CA, in 2011. Having worked in Silicon Valley for years and realized the incredible growth potential of private companies, he launched our first fund, Starport Growth Fund, in order for accredited investors, like himself, to take part in those amazing growth stories in Silicon Valley. He holds dual master’s degrees in computer and industrial Engineering from USC and Stanford, as well as vast experience working for companies ranging from start-ups to blue chips like HP, Oracle, and Taiwan Semi (TSMC). In addition to his solid technical foundation, Donald has business experience to recognize the importance of a successful growth plan, as well as a solid understanding of high-tech companies. Having seen the success of Starport Growth Fund, we launched Starport Alpha Fund last summer in order to best serve qualified investors who are seeking to combine high-growth private companies with newly launched public companies with tremendous growth potential.
