In-depth observations of Thumbtack

When it comes to breaking company news, Thumbtack has gradually, but surely returned to its habit of flying under the radar since its last major funding round last summer. In early February, they announced a partnership with Jobber, a leading provider of home service management software. As a result of their partnership, it appears they were primarily focused on improving their products and helping service professionals book more profitable jobs. Jobber's app marketplace enables home service companies to connect to Thumbtack through its Thumbtack app. On Thumbtack, pros can connect with homeowners and schedule jobs in real time. As soon as those jobs are submitted, they will appear in Jobber, where pros can receive quotes, schedule crews, invoice customers, and receive payment.
